Student Legal Services (SLS) provides free, confidential legal counseling, education and referrals to UCSD students and student organizations. We provide legal workshops and conduct individual and group counseling sessions. In addition to our set workshop schedule, we present specific workshops as requested. We provide services to registered undergraduate and graduate students. We do not provide services for post-docs. Post-docs may see our Legal Links page to see free/low cost options available in San Diego County. Because we must verify student status by seeing an individual’s valid student ID card, Student Legal Services conducts all initial sessions by appointment.
