Legal Lectures Series
We understand that
members of some Greek organizations face unique challenges and tailor
our series to their interests and needs.
• PERSONAL
AND CHAPTER ENRICHMENT
Many Greek organizations provide their members with bi-weekly educational programs.
At the request of the organization, Student Legal Services designs legal related
presentations aimed at providing members of Greek organizations with relevant
legal knowledge.
• FINANCIAL
LIABILITY
Most Greek organizations incorporate a component of community service on social
events into their yearly activities. We help officers identify and address
areas of possible financial liability and assist them with the problem, or
refer as needed.
• PARTY TIME,
NOT JAIL TIME
Since many Greek organizations have a substantial social element, we have developed
a workshop that educations Greeks about the legal consequences of underage
drinking (MIP, DUI, Fake ID, etc.) and of illegal drug use.
